I have decided to included a person music page to give perspective clients a direct link to my other passion; music! Many of the clients I work with are artists/musicians and I wanted to include additional insight/ history to my about page.

For the past 30 years, it has been my passion and profession to teach, perform, compose, and record music ranging from classical to jazz to rock. My musical journey has gone hand in hand with my own self-discovery and personal work. Not only has music been my passion—it has been a teacher. I would not be the person I am today without music. It has been my highest high and lowest low. For me, music is like breathing—something that I hope is always happening.

The Lovely and Talented

The Lovely and Talented is a band with an incredible one of a kind sound that has often been described as being impossible to categorize. Members have included,: JT Nolan, Matt Skellenger, Robin Hoch, Paul Herd, Paul Mullikin Kate Shoup, David Petry, The lovelies fuses “international influences ‘of Latin, Gypsy Swing, Mariachi to American Folk music. The end result has been described as "Gypsy Alternative.”

Beats Noir

Beats Noir began as an experiment. As with all experiments, its conductors were unsure what to expect when they set out to combine J.T. Nolan's love Rock n Roll and production with Paul Mullikin's background in Hip Hop and Jazz and the funky bass playing of Matt Skellenger. Their collaboration led to an intriguing blend of electronic and acoustic sounds, of infectious beats and undeniable musicianship. Excellent drummer and beat maker Dave Miller rounds out this amazing quartet.

The result is equal parts style and substance- big, bold, intelligent, fun music that will make you move.
